Hong Lin works across policy research, public governance and AI systems design, with a focus on cities, institutions, government data and knowledge infrastructure. He also builds civic-tech projects, websites and personal knowledge systems.

Policy research, AI systems, government data and digital products. I start with public problems, organize sources and design workflows that make information and work easier to understand.
How I work
Clarify the problem and its sources before choosing a method. Separate observed outcomes, source claims, analysis and unknowns. Tools should leave room for human judgment.
