Start with an accessible digital front door
Co-creating a useful digital citizen platform
A public hearing on 9 September 2025 examined how an integrated entry point could help residents find and use public services, alongside privacy, accountability, and service governance. I contributed to issue research and hearing preparation.
Issue research and hearing preparation
Digital civic services,
begin with a usable entry point.
I contributed to policy research and hearing preparation. Public coverage confirms the event and topics; it is not the sole evidence of my role, and I do not claim the platform was built or launched.Read public event coverage ↗
Problem
Scattered service entry points can make it hard for residents to know where to start, how processes connect, and how information is used.
Context
The “Co-creating a Useful Digital Citizen Platform” hearing took place on 9 September 2025 and discussed service access, integration, incentives, privacy, and platform governance.
My Role
I contributed to issue research and hearing preparation, framing questions about service access, integration, and governance for discussion. I do not claim sole ownership of team outcomes or claim to have designed or built the platform.
Constraints
Digital services must address usability, integration, privacy, data accountability, and non-digital alternatives. Identifying issues does not prove improvement.
Approach
The work framed access and process issues around resident use, bringing integration, legal, and privacy questions into public discussion.
System
Resident needs → service and process mapping → integration and governance questions → hearing input and further discussion.
Timeline
9 Sep 2025 | Public hearing.
Outcome
The hearing publicly discussed service access, integration, incentives, privacy, and governance. This describes the documented discussion, not a shipped platform, adopted policy, or proven service improvement.
Evidence
Public coverage supports the date, co-hosting, and topics. I confirm my role in the research and preparation; internal meeting materials are not published here.
Limits
Platform design, adoption, usage data, and service outcomes require separate public or verifiable evidence.
